Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audit processes
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for advanced reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Maryland tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with error detection capabilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
