Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow reporting
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with analytical insights
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks/Xero)
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial strategy and forecasting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet month-end deadlines consistently
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
