Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Implement and maintain robust accounting controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end reporting
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary accounting software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced remote environment
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
