Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with variance analysis
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks Online databases with real-time reporting capabilities
- Coordinate year-end tax preparation documentation with CPA partners
- Implement process improvements for financial data integrity and efficiency
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary financial software systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online certification
- Proven expertise in managing multi-client portfolios in a service-based environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial modeling
- Familiarity with CA sales tax filing and payroll processing (ADP experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA candidates strongly preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to reconcile complex accounts
