Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll transactions
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage client accounts and communicate financial insights
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for data management
- Conduct internal audits and financial health assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
