Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Handle complex payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits and year-end closings
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
