Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in the annual audit process.
- Handle vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure timely reporting.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
