Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online)
- Collaborate with tax preparers during quarterly/year-end reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with multi-client portfolio management
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
