Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure GAAP compliance
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end filings
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for operational efficiency
- Provide financial insights through regular client reporting and consultations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- AAS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred
- Demonstrated success with multi-state payroll processing and sales tax filings
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication skills for client relationship management
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
