Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and credit card statements to maintain financial integrity.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring all tax filings and deductions are handled correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and contracts in an organized digital filing system.
- Assist external auditors with requested documentation and data verification.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero (must be able to pass a basic proficiency test).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) is required.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, urgent hiring environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
