Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using QuickBooks Online and Excel.
- Process and reconcile monthly bank statements, credit card transactions, and account payable/receivable invoices.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including adjusting entries.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring all bills are paid accurately and on time.
- Reconcile credit card statements and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Collaborate with the CFO and external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance team members.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
