Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
