As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing vital insights that drive our business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and issue invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Assist the senior accountants with tax preparation and year-end audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
