The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping tasks, and supporting our accounting team during month-end close.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card balances on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll using QuickBooks or ADP.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns as required.
- Assist with the annual audit process by providing requested documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
