Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, such as balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely distribution.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Manage general ledger entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
