Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll for employees using ADP or similar software.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax documents (1099s, W-2s).
- Maintain and update the general ledger and fixed asset schedules.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and California state tax regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred).
- Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
