Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax preparation filings.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Process expense reports and vendor invoices with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and NetSuite.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
