Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure complete data accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
- System Management: Maintain and update our cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Xero) and the general ledger.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to GAAP and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
