Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements for management review.
- Process payroll entries and ensure tax filings are accurate.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
