Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with high accuracy.
- Process payroll for all employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and year-end audits.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using Xero and QuickBooks.
- Assist clients with financial inquiries and general accounting support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting principles (GAAP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience with payroll processing is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
