Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
- Process complex payroll systems and tax filings for 50+ employees
- Generate comprehensive financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with aging reports and collection strategies
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Enterprise workflows for scalability
- Coordinate annual audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Train junior staff on financial compliance best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with multi-state operations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with payroll processing (ADP/Workday)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Ohio tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions (>500 monthly)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
