Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank transactions
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) for client reviews
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Manage client relationships and provide financial insights
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (FL requirements)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
