Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including trial balances and financial statement preparation.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and collections.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist in the preparation of budget reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Pro, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
