You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial data, ensuring our clients maintain compliance with GAAP standards.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our accounting managers to streamline our financial operations and provide strategic insights into our fiscal health.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and collections are followed up on.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
