Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for various accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist with the annual audit process, including documentation and coordination with external auditors.
- Prepare and review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to optimize cash flow.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
