We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Columbus, Ohio. In this pivotal role, you will manage the financial records of our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with local laws.
- Maintain general ledger and fixed asset records.
- Assist with tax preparation and quarterly reporting.
- Ensure all financial data is secure and backed up properly.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
