Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring tax withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and adjusting entries, to reflect the company's financial position.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite is required.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
