Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and posting of daily journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering necessary financial data.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budget analysis.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding account inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
