Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform complex month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the budgeting process and prepare variance analysis reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or active CPA candidate preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
