Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and timely.
- AP & AR Processing: Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and collecting payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll data and maintain payroll records for the organization.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
