Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including daily accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure tax filings are completed on time.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
