Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with strict adherence to deadlines and tax regulations.
- Assist with year-end audits and provide support during tax season preparation.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
