Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online)
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Develop financial forecasting models and budgeting assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-entity bookkeeping and payroll systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Familiarity with Texas sales tax regulations and compliance
