Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Process payroll for all employees with a focus on accuracy and timely distribution, including managing the daily pay workflow.
- Prepare and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to streamline financial processes and data entry.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proven experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Experience with payroll processing and a working knowledge of payroll tax regulations is highly preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
