Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with NM labor regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial records
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Knowledge of NM sales tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience with construction or service industry accounting
- Strong attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations
