Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-company general ledgers with 99.9% accuracy
- Process complex payroll and tax filings for 15+ businesses
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Implement and improve QuickBooks Online workflows for diverse industries
- Coordinate quarterly audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior bookkeepers using proprietary financial software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
- Proficient in Excel macros and financial modeling
- Proven experience with construction and retail industries
