Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with multi-entity structures
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate quarterly audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online and Xero integrations
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for mid-sized firms
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-state payroll and tax filings
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit preparation experience
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
