Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts to ensure financial accuracy
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance for multiple clients
- Implement and improve accounting processes using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Assist with audits and financial reporting for diverse industry clients
- Train junior staff on accounting software and financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of full-time bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and Ohio tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly valued
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection skills
- Experience with financial reporting for small to mid-sized businesses
