Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 50+ employees
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) quarterly
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with Texas state regulations
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Collaborate with CFO on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in full-cycle bookkeeping for mid-sized companies
- Texas sales tax filing experience required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
