Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports) with variance analysis
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance and audit readiness
- Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online and proprietary software
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual reviews
- Develop customized financial reports to support client decision-making and strategic planning
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations (federal, state, local)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reconciliations and reporting cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial data management
- Strong analytical skills for variance identification and resolution
