Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process and manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict deadlines
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements and supporting schedules
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Conduct internal audits and financial compliance reviews
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and financial audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial protocols and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Pennsylvania tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting software (e.g., BlackLine, FloQast)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
