Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements with accuracy
- Maintain and organize digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with auditors during tax season and compliance reviews
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Oversee vendor contracts and expense management systems
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial protocols and software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or equivalent certification a strong plus
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Familiarity with Missouri state tax regulations
