Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for client portfolios
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems with QuickBooks Enterprise and Xero integrations
- Collaborate with CFOs to develop financial forecasting models and cash flow strategies
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit-ready documentation
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-company portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel, and accounting software integrations
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ revenue streams with 99.9% accuracy
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Arizona state tax codes
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero certification required
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify financial discrepancies
- Strong leadership experience in cross-departmental financial projects
