Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and accounts receivable/payable
- Process payroll through ADP and manage quarterly tax filings
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable aging and collection processes
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with tax preparation team for 1099/W-2 compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Expertise in GAAP and Massachusetts tax regulations
- Strong Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Detail-oriented with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
