Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ corporate clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with CPAs for quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and state regulations
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for discrepancies
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping with corporate clients
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Active CPA license or equivalent certification (e.g., CMA, EA)
- Demonstrated success in multi-client portfolio management
- Deep knowledge of Hawaii tax laws and federal compliance requirements
