Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee sales tax filings and quarterly tax returns preparation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks/Xero accounting systems
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record with high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client-facing interactions
- Spanish fluency highly valued for diverse client base
