Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process a high volume of deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers with precision.
- Cash Management: Handle cash and check transactions with strict adherence to audit procedures and security protocols to minimize errors.
- Customer Relations: Build lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and answering inquiries about products and services.
- Product Promotion: Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend credit cards, savings accounts, and investment products effectively.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns efficiently and escalate complex issues to the branch manager when necessary.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in retail banking, cash handling, or customer service is preferred.
- Skills: Strong math skills and proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, core banking software).
- Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Licensing: Must be willing to obtain necessary banking certifications upon hire.
