Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 10+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Oversee bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for diverse business structures
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and year-end closing procedures
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business owners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Proven expertise in handling multi-entity accounting systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software platforms
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate complex financial concepts clearly
