Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reconciliations for all bank accounts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and support for tax filings.
- Process invoices and expense reports with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual reviews.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
