Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger monthly
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with CA labor laws
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and month-end closings
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for data management
- Coordinate with tax preparers for quarterly filings
- Maintain organized digital client records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks Online certification or equivalent proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and CA tax regulations
- Experience with multi-client portfolio management
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines in fast-paced environment
